UPCOMING EVENTS


St. Jude's Math-a-thon will begin in March.  The math component of the fundraiser is mandatory for all students.  Please sign and return the permission slip due on March 6th.  The students will receive a math booklet in a couple of weeks.  Donations are welcome.  Any donations for St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children will be due on Friday, 3/29.  Please make checks payable to St. Jude's Research Hospital.  THANK YOU!!!!


Annie Jr. is March 29th and 30th.  If your child is in the play, please send in a change in dismissal  note when he/she has rehearsal.  Also, please fill out the tee shirt form and send in fee for shirt as the shirt is required.  It will be part of your child's costume.

There are many food allergies in our class this year.  Please be mindful when sending in snacks and treats for the children.  The allergies are:

NUTS, DAIRY, EGGS, AND STRAWBERRIES

IF YOUR CHILD HAS THESE ALLERGIES, YOU MAY SEND IN SNACKS FOR THEM AND I WILL KEEP THEM IN MY LOCKED CLOSET.  THIS IS ONLY A SUGGESTION.

This year is a very important year for your child.  They will be receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.  I am honored to be their teacher!

All consumable workbooks should be covered in contact paper.


Snack time..... a healthy snack with a bottled water please...


Please be mindful when sending in money....exact change and place money in a labeled envelope.   


CASTLE LEARNING ASSIGNMENTS ARE LABELED BY THE MONTH......PLEASE START WORKING ON MARCH ASSIGNMENT.  IT IS DUE ON MARCH 31ST.



The children need their H and J books every day.  They are starting to run out of pages in these notebooks.  Please send in $2.00 for each book.  Thank you!

Please leave Math module book 1, 2, 3, 4 at home.  DO NOT THROW THEM OUT.

PLEASE SAVE OLD H AND J BOOKS.....THERE ARE PAPERS TAPED INTO THESE NOTEBOOKS FOR THE CHILDREN TO REFER TO THROUGHOUT THE YEAR


Please reproduce the Sprint sheets that go home.  Time your child one minute.  Perhaps you can make flash cards as well.  We will be starting module 4 which requires the students to know their math facts quickly.  Working on math facts will help your child to succeed.

A Reconciliation booklet will be coming home next week.  Your child needs to memorize the Bless Me Father sheet and the Act of Contrition prayer.  This is in preparation for The Sacrament of Reconciliation.  

ATTENTION PARENTS:  PLEASE LEAVE THE MATH-A-THON BOOKLET IN YOUR CHILD'S FOLDER......THEY WROTE ON THE BOOKLET "PLEASE KEEP IN MY POCKET FOLDER"
