Welcome to our class website!

Welcome to Nursery!

I am excited to begin the 2018-2019 school year here at Maria Regina Elementary.

Teaching your child is an immense responsibility and I will do my best to provide each student with a safe and motivating learning experience in this upcoming year. However I cannot do this without the help of you, the parents.  We are partners in the learning process.

If you need to drop off or pick up your child during the school day, you must sign him/her in or out in the office.  Students must maintain regular and prompt attendance to ensure success.  If students arrive late, they miss out on learning activities that begin immediately at 8:20 am.

Recess/Lunch:

Snack should be labeled in a separate bag from lunch. Reusable snack bags work the best. Students may bring lunch from home or buy. The cost for lunch is $2.oo. Nursery eats lunch in their classroom.

The children will be going out for recess, weather permitting.  For the most part, if your child is well enough to be at school, he/she is well enough to participate in outdoor recess. Please make sure your child is properly dressed. Remember to label clothing, snacks and lunch boxes with your child’s name and room number.

Classroom Expectations:

Establishing great classroom discipline is essential to each child’s success, confidence and well-being. Every child should feel that the classroom environment is safe and secure; free from all threats of physical or emotional harm. In addition, it is important that each child learns to develop self-discipline and good work habits, to resolve conflicts peacefully, and to think independently.

I believe it is very important to communicate between home and school and will do my best to keep you informed.   Should you have any questions, comments or concerns at anytime throughout the year, please contact me at
rwebster5603@mariareginaschool.org.

Best Regards,

Mrs.Webster
