Academic Intervention Services are available for reading and math to students in
Kindergarten through fifth grade. Students are seen in their classroom during
small group, differentiated instruction or in the AIS classroom.

Recommendations for this program come from classroom teachers, parents,
and/or test results.

Students receive small group instruction one period per day, Monday-Friday.

Students are urged to read with their parents for 30 minutes per night to
build fluency and comprehension skills.

Extra help is always available during recess (M-F) in room 14 for
any students in grades one through 8.

Mrs. Schachner is the Reading teacher.  Mrs. Archbald is the Math teacher.
